Kaizen - a Japanese term meaning to improve a little at a time. She was purchased
to be a dog for our interested teenagers - thinking Schipperkes would be easier for
them to handle than the subtle manipulations common with the Belgians. Boy were we
fooled. This little girl is like a Belgian in a smaller package “frosted” with sprinkles
of independence ... Oh, but what a delight! She also thought sheep were something
else - and, when tested, was said to have more presence that other big dogs in the
herding group of breeds.
