Giardia is a one-cell organism that is very commonly found in Colorado
dogs. Giardia will quietly wait for the host to become stressed. Upon
stress, Giardia will often cause watery diarrhea and weight loss. Though
at times medication is necessary, often managing the stress and claming
the intestinal and immune system will resolve the symptoms without
throwing off the body’s balance.
