Why do you want a new dog?

We thoroughly interview all of our prospective puppy owners so that we can select the right puppy that will at least meet, but more often exceed the expectations of their new families. Driven by our concern to assist in developing sound minds, bodies and improved future generations, we have qualifications each new family needs to meet. All of our canines are sold with a written contract outlining all commitments, guarantees and awards. There is no obligation intended when answering the following questions. They are required as we would like to know your thoughts about these issues.

We require 8-10 weeks (minimum) active participation in an obedience clicker training with a qualified trainer (or the equivalent).* Can you commit to this?

All non-competitive canines are sold with a firm agreement to spay / neuter by 8 months of age. Would you agree to this?

Prior to breeding, screening for Canine Hip Dysplasia, Elbow dysplasia (optional), screen-able inherited eye diseases and brucellosis is required for all Kaponomana canines. When the decision has been made to breed your canine, would you commit to completing all necessary health screenings before breeding?
